Guide to Book Publishing

Table of Contents

I didn’t wake up one day knowing how to publish a book. Instead, I googled, failed, panicked and finally mastered how to do it like a pro. Here’s the whole story - no fluff, just the real deal.

So, you want to know how to publish your own book?

I remember the day I finally typed in “The End” on my manuscript. For a few minutes, I simply stared at the blinking cursor, overwhelmed with joy that I actually had done it.

I have written my first ever book!
Then the dread settled in, cause I had no clue what’s next.

I had questions swirling in my mind, like what book publishing method I should choose. Is it traditional or self-publishing?

Or is formatting adding a table of contents in Google Docs?

Spoiler Alert: It's Not!

I drove into blogs (yes, just like the ones you are reading), found the ones that really sparked my curiosity and even those who made me face-palm, and tested the waters—some worked, some failed.

Thankfully, I now know what you have to do. And in case you are wondering why you should listen to me in the first place, here’s a fun fact about me,

I’ve published four books until now, while the fifth sits in my draft waiting to be published. Also, I have 8+ years of experience in the book industry and lived through every high and low.

I’ve seen my book being ranked number 1 (YAY), and I’ve also seen $0.00 on my royalty card reports.

So, if you want to be the best New York Best Seller, this blog is everything I wished I had back then—one written by someone who has been through the same thing. There is no gatekeeping, no lying—just a detailed guide on the book publishing process. So, buckle up!

Understanding Different Publishing Paths

One thing I learned while I tested different ways to get my book published (and failed miserably) is that knowing which publishing paths perfectly fit your needs is vital before you even think of hitting the publish button.

The Three Main Publishing Paths

There are three types of publishing: traditional, self-publishing and hybrid.

Imagine travelling first class, choosing economy, or hitch-hiking to your destination. Each has its perks.

So, before I tell you which one I chose for my book, here is what I thought of each.

1. Traditional Path - The Elusive Bestseller Fantasy

At first, taking this route as my book launch plan felt like a dream.

I’ll be honest! It was my first choice.

I even imagined what it would look like - A big-name book publishing house, a fat advance check sitting in my bank account, a team of expert publicists handling my book while I sip on mimosas and my book becoming a hit and featured in the New York Times Bestseller list. Cue the dreamy sigh.

However, it all came crashing down. To even get started, I needed a literary agent. Sounds simple, right? All I had to do was find someone to represent me.

Who am I kidding?

It was all a nightmare because I needed not only a killer query letter to get an agent on board, but also a manuscript ready.

Moreover, I had to wait weeks, even months, just for them to send “I am sorry” emails.

OH MY GOD! You must be thinking how hard it is to take the traditional path.

While many authors do prefer this method, not to gatekeeper, but this is JUST not for me. I felt like someone looking at the celebs party with nose pressed up on the window, feeling like an outside while everyone enjoys.

2. Hybrid Publishing - The Middle Ground, Which Costs A Little Money

Then came the hybrid planning - it's like eating your cake and having it too. It was like hiring the professionals to edit, design and publish my book while still having some control over my book but not more than self-publishing.

Well, truthfully, I was pretty tempted to try this offer. Furthermore, I thought I could relax and won’t have to worry about rejection.

However, when I saw the price ( $1,000 to $7,000…), I realised I could build a whole army with this.

How did I feel?

It was like eating a full-course, exclusive meal at a fancy restaurant, but I had to bring silverware. This is great for established authors who have money, but for me? I was broke, so it was out of the option.

So onto the next one.

3. Self-Publishing - My Personal Favourite as It Gives You Freedom

Honestly, self-book publishing never even crossed my mind as I was in my LALA land, that the traditional route would make my dreams come true! Or the hybrid was one for me.

But then, whilst scrolling through an article, I read how a well-known author made his debut by self-publishing.

And that’s when I got the idea that I had to do this!

The ride to self-publishing a book? Rollarcoaster!
Why?
Well, you have to be in charge of everything from book writing to editing, designing, formatting and publishing.

Frankly speaking, be prepared to feel like pulling your hair out and screaming into the pillow.

But you know what?
I Loved It!

Learning my ropes, testing my boundaries and playing with different things to see what suited my book was fun.

Obviously, it was terrifying, too. It was like feeling like a child who was pushed into the pool and told to swim without any training.

The first few months were nerve-wracking for me.

Which One’s the Best For You? (Spoiler: I Chose Self-Publishing)

As you all might have guessed already, there is no brainer about which publishing method I chose for my book.

Well, after much hassle, trying on all three book publishing hats, I finally decided to self-publish. (You Should Too).

Thus, if you are anyone like me who loves her freedom and hates listening to others ordering you around, this is for you!

I know some of you are still not convinced of me.

Don’t worry!

Once you know the perks I enjoyed, you will also become a fan of this.

What are the benefits of Self-Publishing?

I accept that self-publishing is hard, especially if it is your first time; however, there are perks like:

  • There were no gatekeepers or literary agents who rejected my ideas. In fact, I had space to be creative as much as I wanted it from writing to designing.
  • Moreover, after publishing my book on KDP, I earned 70% more royalties.
  • I didn’t have to wait months to connect with a literary agent or publish my book. Once my manuscript was completely ready, it took me three days to make it available for the world to read.

It was my confidence booster to keep going without any stress.

What Are The Steps to Self-Publishing? (Revealing My Secrets)

You have continued to this part of the blog, which means either you’ve decided to self-publish your book or you are enjoying my ranting too much to stop reading. P.S. I hope it is both!

So, how do you self-publish the book yourself?

Well, welcome to the chaotic, coffee-fueled and ridiculously rewarded club. I promise it's not as scary as it looks, especially when you have a complete guide where I tell you the steps I took (filled with some aah moments and too many snacks).

Step 1: Write The Dang Book

It’s pretty obvious! You guys must be thinking I have gone crazy for suggesting something this clear, because who wouldn’t have already written one if they are thinking of publishing a book themselves?

But this one is important, folks! You have to get your manuscript ready.

Simple? Yes! Easy? No!

I still remember when I started writing the book. On my first day I spent hours looking at the blinky cursor while drinking at least 3 to 4 Iced lattes. (Don’t Judge, I am obsessed with coffee).

Then I got an idea about setting a goal of writing 500 words daily. It went like writing 500 words and you will get chocolate chip cookies. (I had too many).

But that got me working, and within a month, I was able to write my first book!

So you do that. Here’s the checklist I made for writing a book. You can see if you want.

  • Outline: I started with creating an outline for my book which included brainstorming about the chapters, adding sections, creating characters and developing a plot.
  • 1st Draft: Next goal was to get words on paper no matter how bad it was as I knew I had time for editing.
  • Editing: Once done, I edited like a teacher marking 1st grade papers.
  • 2nd Draft: 1st draft wasn’t enough for me. So I added and cut down things to ensure my storyline flowed flawlessly.
  • Used Tools: Best editing tools like Grammarly and Hemingway became my partners while writing.
  • Got Feedback: Asking my friends and family who can give me an honest review was on my top list. So I did that.

While there were tons of things I did to get my book going, these six were like my main pillars.

Step 2: Editing Ruthlessly AKA The Painful Step

If you think writing is birthing then editing is a boot camp. First I edited the book myself aloud and cringed a lot. Then asked my brutally honest friend for the feedback, cried because of the mistakes and edited again.

Also, I created an editing checklist to ensure I didn’t miss any parts. Here is the one for you:

A Pro Tip: I would suggest not skip professional editing cause there is a difference between “Wow this is legit” and “Oh no, you got mistakes on page 2”. More on getting a professional editor on board in a sec but remember good editing is everything.

Step 3: Design a Killer Book Cover

AKA, the moment I realised that no matter how much I enjoy art, Canva Book Covers won’t cut it for me.
Frankly I thought I could finally bring my artistic side out and whip a decent cover out myself. I mean how hard it can be. Just slap on a book title, throw in a stock photo and pick up the nice font - boom done.

Yeah…. No. The first draft looked like a PowerPoint presentation created by a college student.

You need more than that.

But why?

People do judge your book by its cover. Harsh but true!

Moreover, when someone is scrolling through Amazon or strolling in the bookstore, one thing they see is the book cover. Think of it like a first impression, handshake or your sales pitch - all-in-one.

Hence, your book cover must:

  • Conveys the genre instantly
  • Tell the tone (romance, mystery, thriller, etc)
  • Visually appealing, which forces readers to buy your book
  • Builds trust.

My Cover Journey or How I Got Lost in the 1000+ designs of Canva

What if I told you I didn’t give up creating the covers after the first try?
You must be thinking how persistent she is.

Instead, before settling on the one, I tried other methods like:

DIY Attempt With Canva

I just told you above how I miserably failed with this one.

But did I stop?

Nope! Instead I created at least 50+ designs thinking I could do it. Tried playing with colors, thought out of the box and even used AI for guidance.

Well, it was a cute and fun experience however not something that matched the industry standards. It probably felt like a flyer for a bake sale.

Pre-Made Covers

At first I wanted to try this option. Websites like GoOnWrite and The Book Cover Designer have pre-made covers on every niche. You only need to make sure that the ones you snag aren’t purchased by another person.

Why didn’t I choose?

Well, nothing clicked with my book.

Hiring a Designer (Bingo)

I finally went with a freelance graphic designer I found on Fiverr for $200. Connected with him, provided the book title, sent the mood board and described things like tone and audience.

The result?
I received a stunning, eye-catching and professional book cover that looked exactly like it belonged next to the NYT bestsellers.

Step 4: Choose Your Self-Publishing Platform

Now that I had my manuscript ready, book cover designed, which screamed pick me and was almost ready for publication, I faced the most challenging question:

Where The Heck Do I Publish This Thing?

I honestly thought it would be a piece of cake, like pick a platform, add details, pour champagne and enjoy my success.

But no! Not as easy as it seemed. In fact, I got buried in between the tabs comparing royalties, checking the platform would be best. It felt like I was creating a budget list for my next trip.

So, if you are at this step and feel like putting your head through the wall, just follow my lead:

The Three Big Publishing Platforms I Seriously Considered

So, here are the three big publishing platforms I seriously considered, and tried them out before settling on the final one.

IngramSpark

I always heard good things about this book publishing website. So, technically, I had to try this one.

It has the industry for distribution - think Indie, Fiction, non-fiction, etc.
If I had to describe this platform, I would say it is a dream for those who live in books.

Pros
  • Allow Hardcover formats
  • High-quality printing
  • Perfect for authors who want to go beyond Amazon
  • Cost-effective
Cons
  • I didn’t like the interface. Not very user-friendly.
  • Also, it includes a small setup fee ($1,500)

Draft2Digital

Most of you might not be aware of this one. Think of it as a friendly cousin who likes to see everyone winning.

The thing I liked the most about Draft2Digital is that it makes it easier for you to distribute eBooks on platforms like Apple, Kobo, Barnes and Noble etc.

Pros
  • Amazing formatting tools
  • Free of cost. (They only charge a small fee)
  • Wide distribution
Cons
  • Don’t support KDP distribution
  • No paper books.
Amazon KDP

My ultimate choice - and probably yours too.

Let’s be real! Amazon KDP rules the book world like a kind-hearted ruler. It’s not only me who thinks this way.

Others have the same opinion. Here’s what I liked the most about this:

Pros
  • Largest platform with over 80% of eBook sales generated from this
  • 35% or 70% of royalties, depending on where you are.
  • Offers both eBooks and Paperbacks.
  • Promotional Perks
Cons
  • You are dancing to Amazon’s tune.

So what did I choose?

I think the answer is obvious!
Well, I wanted eyes on a book, and Amazon delivered. It’s like Netflix for books, where everyone searches for something every time.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t try others.

Why Amazon KDP is yay for me because of the amazing promotional deals and royalties like:

  • Kindle Countdown deals
  • Free coupons
  • It has KDP Select, which allows you to make your book free for 90 days.

I joined for 3 months and had no regrets! Worth it!

Don’t Let Minor Mistakes Ruin Your Book: Get A Professional Editor On Board Now!

Over 75% of readers stop reading because of grammatical, punctuation, and syntax errors. Avoid this by partnering with a professional editor to refine your manuscript and impress your readers.

Let’s Connect!

Step 5: Get A Professional Book Editor Onboard (Don’t Skip This One)

I know, I know - you have already edited the book. But hear me out.

A professional editor sees what you can’t. At first, I wasn’t supportive of hiring an experienced book editor.

However, with much persuasion from my friend, I finally got one.

That was one of the best decisions of my life!

She helped me find the grammatical errors, catch awkward phrases, make the main characters shine, improve wordings and develop a solid plot. She even spotted an inconsistency in my character’s eye colour. (Bless Her)

It wasn’t a day or two's work. Instead, it took a week. My editor performed different editorial runs, like:

  • Development editing - checked the structure and everything.
  • Line editing - concentrated on improving flow, language and style.
  • Proofreading - typos and minor errors.

Hiring a professional might be expensive, but it will also take your book to the next level. Trust me! You will thank them, even me, later on.

Step 6: Don’t Skip on Formatting

This one snuck up on me! I always thought formatting meant making your book look pretty.

Oh, how wrong I was!

It is more about checking elements like font size, spacing, table of contents, and overall structure.

Trust me!

No one wants to read a book that looks like it was written in Microsoft Paint by a 10-year-old kid.

Formatting is the hero of professional-looking books. If your chapters aren’t spaced right, your font looks like it belongs in a vintage store, or your margins are off, no one will purchase your book.

I learned the hard way that you may have a Stephen Covey-worthy book, no one will read it with the formatting of a high school Word doc.

So here’s what I did:

  • I tried formatting by checking different YouTube videos and using Reedsey’s free book editor.
  • Then I tried to level up with the Vellum (an excellent tool for Macbook)
  • I even tried it on the Draft2Digital platform on a budget.

When all three methods failed, I got myself a solid editor who helped me format my book. So whether you invest in pro services or DIY the formatting, DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!

Step 7: Set up A Perfect Cost

Setting up pricing gave me more anxiety than writing the actual book.

Let’s be honest - putting a price tag on your book is tough because you don’t want to scare the readers, and at the same time, don’t want yourself to face the financial loss.

I know what you are thinking:

How Should I Price My Book?

Well, there isn’t any one-size-fits-all formula. However, there were four things that I considered while setting up my cost like:

Understanding Genres

I took my sweet time studying different prices in my niche. For example, romance and mystery eBooks hover around $2.99 - $4.99. Similarly, nonfiction and how-to guides have a higher price.

Amazon KDP Royalties

Since I was self-publishing the book on KDP, I browsed around for the royalties, and here’s what I found out:

  • 70% royalty if the price is around $2.99–$9.99
  • 35% royalty if the cost is below $2.99 or above $9.99
  • There is a Delivery fee for eBooks

If I kept the price around $4.99, I received $3.43 per sale - not bad for a digital product.

Print Books = Different Math

Print books are a different story. Amazon takes 40% and deducts the printing cost ($3.65 for a 200-page book).

That means if I kept the book price at $12.99 per copy, I would receive $4.14.

Physiological Pricing Wins

When setting the price, I learned that psychological pricing always wins. So, instead of keeping the cost at $5.00, I went for $4.99.

Furthermore, launching promos at $0.99 helped me gain traction fast. Also, keeping the ebook cost lower is much better at first.

That’s not all! You also need to consider other costs. Here’s what I focused on:

  • Editing: $600 to $3000
  • Cover Design: $200 - $400
  • Formatting: $50 (DIY is possible if you want)
  • ISBN: $125 for each, or you can use the free KDP one, as I initially did.
  • Copyright fee: $45 and $65. (For U.S only)
  • Ads/Marketing: It depends on you. Mine was $300.

Well, I’ll come back later on how much it cost me for a book. Meanwhile, if you want to learn more about the cost of book publishing on KDP, I suggest reading my blog, How Much Does It Cost to Publish a Book? [2025 Prices]. It has everything you need.

Step 8: Get ISBN and Copyright

Once my manuscript was edited, formatted, and looking sharp, I hit the next milestone: getting an ISBN and copyright—yup! It was time to make everything official.

You must be wondering what they are.

Well, imagine you self-publish a book after sweating for months on this. However, the next day, you woke up to find someone had taken credit for it.

ISBN and Copyright stop this from happening.

ISBN - Your Book’s FingerPrint

Think of ISBN (International Standard Book Number) as a code that helps bookstores, libraries, and readers track and identify your book.

When choosing the ISBN, I had two options,

  • Use Amazon’s Free ISBN. However, this was a drawback as Amazon is listed as the author.
  • Buy my own from Bowker for $125 each or 10 for $295

So, what did I do?

I splurge for my own - control freak alert, because I wanted my book publishing rights.

Pro Advice:

Each book format (ebook, paperback, hardcover) needs an ISBN. I learned that the hard way.

Copyright - Protecting Your Precious Book

Technically, in the U.S., your work is copyrighted the moment you write it. However, if you still want to protect your rights in the U.S courtroom (in case someone gets sneaky), this comes in handy.

Here’s how I got mine done:

  • Registered online, which cost around $45 to $65
  • Waited for 3 months for the process to be finalised.

While for me, this step wasn’t creative, it still took the burden off my shoulders, knowing that my book was protected!

Step 9: The Launch (a.k.a My Nervous Breakdown)

Picture this: me, sitting on a sofa in my PJs, sipping on my coffee while maniacally refreshing the Amazon ranking list.

Not a good image, I know.

Frankly, I thought launching a book would be simple. Oh, who was I kidding?

It felt like sending your child to school for the first time—except it was on the internet, where instead of a backpack, my book wore a price tag, waiting to be rejected by total strangers.

Yep! That was my launch day. But thankfully, I survived.

Here’s what I did.

Deciding on a Launch Day

I picked up the launch date, circled it with a bright red marker, and then continued to question my sanity. Not because I was confident, but because I needed to prepare myself mentally for the unfolding rollercoaster ride.

There were two things I was focused on:

Hype Starts Before The Launch

Launching your book is not a one-day thing but a whole campaign. So, I:

  • Teased snippets on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
  • Created a hype by posting the book countdown.
  • Shared behind-the-scenes writing moments.
  • Offered ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) to a small book tok team. (Bless Them!) and got fantastic reviews.

My friends and family became my support system, promoting my book at every step. God knows what I would have done without them!

Created a Launch Plan With Actual Checkboxes

Now, I had to come up with the actual book launch strategy and decide what I had to do.

Well, guess what?

I created a complete checklist for this. So, if you want, you can steal my secret (not so secret) game plan.

  • First, I ensured my eBook and Hardcover books were set up for pre-order on Amazon.
  • Next, I created a massive email list and sent newsletters to friends, family, ex-colleagues, and even that aunt with whom I hadn’t talked in years.
  • Lined Up pre-launch promos
  • Scheduled posts on social media.
  • I even had review reminders locked in.

(Hehe, that’s how my actual checklist looked)

Launch Day (Finally Yay)

Cue the Panic!
When my book finally went live, I spent hours refreshing Amazon like a lunatic to see if I had made a sale.

And when I finally received the email You Made A Sale! I cried with happy tears because now I could see my dreams finally coming true.

Also, I replied to every Instagram comment, reshared every story, and thanked them for the book purchase, as if I had won some sort of Oscars.

Post Launch

Do you think the work was done here?

Didn’t you?

HA! No! You are only getting started!

Here’s the thing - your book won’t go viral right after you launch it. Instead, you need to create momentum.

  • Running a discount once a week
  • Appearing on the podcast (even the small ones)
  • Joining the Facebook readers' group
  • Pitching to BookTok fam and other authors.

This helped me keep the buzz alive even after the launch, and believe me when I say it was all I could see everyone talking about on my Instagram.

What I Learned?

Launching is not just about the book. Instead, it is about the story behind the story. Readers want to support authors who connect with them on a personal level.

So, show up, be authentic and don’t panic when things don’t go your way.

Most success comes from consistency and not overnight magic.

Step 10: Marketing - Before, During, and After

This was one of the exciting parts of my book publishing journey, apart from writing itself.

However, it was also nerve-wracking.

It’s not just about completing the book - instead, you have to put yourself in front of the readers.

Here’s what I did to market a self-published book.

Before Launch - Setting the Stage

Before my book was even out, I knew I had to build some buzz. So I nailed down:

  • Who were my readers?
  • Where do they hang out online?
  • What did they like?
  • What problems could my book solve for them?

Please don’t think of me as an obsessive stalker! It is one of the crucial steps as it helped me tailor the content.

Furthermore, I started growing my platform early on - my website, social media and of course email list.

Do you know what I did?

I offered my readers a free chapter in their inbox, which worked wonders to build a small yet eager crowd.

Moreover, I send out the ARCs to bloggers and influencers I admire. Their early reviews boosted my confidence. Plus, I prepped a press kit - My bio, book cover and a snappy summary. This way, I would be ready when I started pitching media. Also, I set up pre-orders on Amazon. Opening those felt like planting - I wasn’t sure what would grow, but it gave a way for people to support me.

During Launch - The Big Moment

Launch day was exciting and nerve-wracking! I wanted to celebrate and make some noise while sweating with nervousness!
Once the book was live, I hosted a virtual launch party where I read a few excerpts and answered questions live.

One of the best things was that I enjoyed it a lot, and connecting with readers directly was a blast.

Moreover, I remained active on social media, posting every day different content including behind-the-scenes, snippets and shout-outs to early reviewers.

After my friend, who is also a social media manager, suggested running a few ads, I did that, and it helped me reach people who might love my book but hadn’t heard of me.

Surprisingly, I didn’t stop there. Instead, I collaborated with other authors and book clubs. Even did interviews on podcasts.

Nonetheless, I kept sharing positive reviews everywhere. Seeing those pop-ups boosted and helped convince others to check my book.

After Launch - Keeping the Momentum

Once the excitement had settled in, I had to pull out some big guns to keep the momentum going.

I started by booking some book signings in the local cafes and library near me, posted about them on social media and encouraged readers to attend.

Guess what?

It worked like a charm!

Another thing that helped me bring the crowd was sending them personalised messages with freebies, promotions or snippets of what’s coming next. I even asked friends and family to leave out the reviews if they enjoyed the book.

Do you know what I did next?

I started planning an audiobook to grab more audience, check which ads worked the best and what new techniques I can use.

So, folks, while marketing might stress you out and feel like running a marathon, it is worth it. While I did require creativity and lots of caffeine, hearing people praising my book warmed my heart.

How Much Does It Cost Me?

Ah yes! The million-dollar question: How much does it cost to self-publish a book?

When I first thought about book publishing myself, I asked myself if it was going to burn my bank account.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to. The cost of self-publishing a book depends on how much you DIY or outsource.

Investing in hiring a professional book editor and getting a cover designed by the expert made quite a big difference. Investing in these can make or break your book’s success.

Here’s the breakdown of my actual expenses:

Item Cost
Editing (Hired a freelancer via Fiverr) $800
Cover Design (Got it done by a professional) $200
ISBN (10 Pack from Bowker) $295
Formatting (Again, an editor) $50
Beta Readers (Gift Cards) $45
Marketing (Ads and Promos) $$400
Total 1790

So, would I do it again?

Heck yes!

But now I know where to save money and where to invest more for better outcomes. Also, I would suggest having a book publishing budget if you are a beginner.

How much money do other authors make?

Let’s talk royalties because we all want to be the next Ana Huang or Mark Manson.

Here’s the unfiltered scoop.

  • Amazon KDP Royalties: You receive 70% royalty for eBooks priced between $2.99 to $4.99. Furthermore, it has 35% of royalties too.
  • Print Book Royalties: A 200-page payback priced at $9.99 can earn you $2.93. Furthermore, there is a 60% royalty.

You want a reality check on how much a self-published author earns?
Indie authors earn under $1000 per year. Furthermore, to become a successful author, you must be consistent and publish more books.

I made $3500 for six months—while it wasn’t life-changing, it still kept me going.

Essential Tools and Software That Became My Best Friend

Navigating the book publishing process felt like a massive challenge until I discovered the tools and software, which made my life easier.

Here are the digital sidekicks; without them, book publishing wouldn’t be possible.

  • Dabble Writer and Google Docs - Making the writing process smoother
  • Grammarly - Became my best friend who helped me tackle my worst enemies, AKA punctuation and jargon.
  • Canva - It was my friendly neighbour who I would go to for creating templates, social media posts and email newsletters.
  • MailerLite - With it, I built my huge email list.
  • Book Funnel is for sharing ARC copies with the readers and building a funnel.
  • Publisher Rocked - Helped me find the best keywords for listing on Amazon.

These tools made chaos fun and manageable. Furthermore, they made me feel like a pro even when I was just learning.

Some of My Additional Tips for Success

So kids, my guide on self-publishing a book is finally ending. Before I bid adieu to you (for this blog), here are my additional tips to help you set up for success.

  • Be patient (coming from someone who is not so patient herself). Success is not overnight - you will fall, might even want to rip your hair off but in the end consistent and hard work pays off.
  • Never shy away from talking about the book, and please, for GOD’s SAKE, stop apologising for mentioning your book. In the beginning, even I was hesitant but now I shout it from the rooftop that I wrote a Book.
